#MeToo movement

'Raise up your voice and stand up against pivots hiding under hood'.
Get ready to be a rebel against male dominated society with a movement regardless of sex,  race and  religion to empower sexually harassed and sexually assaulted victims. MeToo movement has completed a year in India with huge number of cases from all dimensions including political, entertainment, media field and list is unstoppable.
What started as a simple tweet has grown to a global phenomenon and a symbol of resistance against sexual harassment. A spark begin in  United States against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinston more than a year ago fueld up in India late September with multiple women coming out with their #MeToo stories.
A social platform, that strives together as friends and enemy set the spark into fire, litting not one but hundreds of fires which has now become a blaze against men glamorized in arts and popular culture. Setting up action into forces and considering the power of social media, the healing of hidden wounds is on its way to be cured regardless society norms against women. India is now willing to hear such realistic stories and stand up by the side. It's high time for a world to speak up and engulfs into deadly victory of #MeToo club.
This is not just the concern of prominent journalists and famous actors it is for everyone out their who just need a slight push and shell out on a way ahead. In a development, Union Minister of Women and Child development - Maneka Gandhi said she would set up a panel of legal experts to look into the #MeToo allegations, which came up as a victory for fighters in a league that voices are heard at every corner of the room.
Over the past few weeks,  India has witnessed a change that feels like nothing short of revolution in our culture, where ironically 'gathering and shattering ' are the loopholes of a society which need to be modernized with its cult meaning and impact.  The social media speces have often been the bane of outspoken society has now provided women a platform to share their true story, evidences and testimony. Everyday a harrowing account of harassment on to social media raised the bar against culprits sitting on their personal and private arena. It was an opportunity to speak out the "boys' club" of the film industry, and the fact that "everyone knew" about her harassment, but "did nothing". The anguished voices on social media are the biggest symptom of how to broke the system in despite the enactment of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act in 2013. It not only let women come out of their shell but to be a strong support for other women who couldn't gather courage to speak up and fight back. 
In a country that worshipes women as a 'Goddesses', not only kills girl child but also sulking into rigid mentality of harassment,  is now seeing the real face of in built Goddesses in Women and fairs from such outspoken women. MeToo is still among the most searched terms on Google in India and those who consider it as a defamation against men and backing them with false ideals has come down soo far with this #MeToo movement. Empowering others through empathy is often a part of our healing journey which at workplaces will cease to be condoned or brushed into the carpet.
