Learning and Visualizing

Learning and Visualizing

In ancient times, India had the Gurukul system of education in which anyone who wished to study went to teacher's (Guru) house and requested to be taught.
In modern times, teaching was confined to classrooms and the link with nature was broken, as well as the close relationship between the teacher and the student also weekend.

Swami Vivekananda quoted “Education is manifestation of perfection in man". Education is the backbone of society and the method by which education is imparted in the society decides the intellect of literate and learned people.

We are unfortunately blessed with a generation who believe that things in prescribed textbook are the essence of education. The practicality of the subject remains unknown to the students even when they have graduation in hand because the practical aspect of the subject was told only for the examination purpose. The very basic problem today's generation has is that most of them study only because of the reason of exams. This is the reason why we find most of the graduates are unemployed even though they have the marks. The very basic reason many fails in the life even though they achieved success in their exams is that they thought that marks are the lone criterion for success in life. The teachers also promote student with more academic brilliance rather than those good in other curricular activities.

We need to produce sensible and enlightened intellectuals who could bring about the much needed change of the hour.

'Given a man a fish and you feed him one day, teach him to catch fishes and you feed him for a lifetime'. It is believed that if we teach a man a skill, we enable him for a lifetime. Knowledge is largely forgotten after the semester exam is over. Still, year after year student focus on cramming information. The best crammers are rewarded by the systems.

In short, Memorising is no learning. Some kids learn faster, some are comparatively slow. Some people are visual learners other are auditory learners and still some other learn faster from experience.

In today, modern world, Internet has created this possibility that the performance need not to be restricted to a small classroom, it can be opened up for the world to see we need to embrace internet with technology.

Learning should be made interesting and interactive by visualizing them. Smart classes-learning, you-tube practical’s and demonstrations are now trending in society. Learners are more curious and new learning platform apart from bookish learning give them a chance to explore into a new world of curiosity

Homeless survivors

Homeless survivors

They live in a completely different world. They're perfect and have no need to be better. They are simply what they are. They feel our energy, even if we don’t communicate with them, don’t talk with or touch them. It seems they feel our aura. We talk about a world that seems to be close to us, but at the same time, we know little about the world of animals. I think people need animals to become kinder and happier-to have bigger hearts.

Animals are categorized as non-human members in the society of humans. 'Jungle' the Hindi world for wilderness in India is the perfect place for animals to live in."The greatness of a nation is judged by the way it treats its animals" said Mahatma Gandhi. But long before animal activism became a global movement and animals laws were enacted in India, we experienced a tremendous expansion in flora n fauna system of India.
As India moves ahead in the race for being a developed country, morals and ethos are being left behind and superseded by an insensitivity and egotistical attitude that is hard to comprehend

"Unseen they suffer, unheard they cry". These words penned above can feel the pain, the suffering that millions of animals endure at the hand of humans every single day. The street animal’s situation varies from culture to culture. In some places, they are treated well, given scraps, even identified as 'belonging to' someone, though the definition of 'ownership' can be loose and they may still roam the neighbourhood, sleeping outside. People dislike or even fear them, they are typically thin and hungry, and may be kicked, hit or stoned if they come too near.

There is no shelter place for street animals. Conditions are worse when animals get hit by motor vehicles and meet a painful death that would go unnoticed by us. Overpopulation of street dogs has been an issue that societies face nowadays. Animals do not want to ride bicycles, stand on their heads, balance on balls or jump through ring of fire but animals in circuses have no choice. Trainers use abusive tools including whips and electronic prods to force them to perform. Animals held captive in circuses zoos and other entertainment venues that need us to speak for them and become their voice.

Occasionally cows are idolized and given a lot of respect in our country as we consider cows as sacred. The treatment of dairy cows in India is shockingly awful cows are injected with hazardous injections, for greed of more milk than they can originally afford to give, indulging them to risk their lives. Experimentally proven theory says that animals like dog, cat, fish, parrots, cow, rabbits and even turtles can be best companion for humans if they are given due respect and care that they deserve

Dogs can form very close bond with humans and infact dogs are even known as man's best friend. As people who know dogs, will tell anyone, we can count on the friendship of a stray if all else fails. Our little efforts and initiatives can save many homeless, motherless and sick animals.

wheeling on wheel

                      wheeling on wheel

Life without movement...sounds wired as we cannot imagine our life without any kind of movement. Movement and motion are the necessities of life for surviving and to from one place to another.
Chakra, a Sanskrit word for ‘Wheel’ which in English also means ‘Circle’ or a Cycle. Wheel is a circular component i.e. intended to rotate; making that can ease our life. Different sizes and shapes of wheel that we can see around us are always a matter of joy for many.
In history, invention of wheels is a global revolution around 3000 years ago in the Bronze Age where life was given a new dimension and paved a way for new era. The weavers and potters were the first one to use wheels. Human brains united animals and wheel together. Cart pulled by horses, was the example of technical growth in the world history.
Invention at its initial phase was marked to ease the life of human beings. The field of pottery is a crucial discovery for progression by humanity. The containers were prepared by the potters are helpful for carrying the essentials of drinking water and nutritious food. There was yet another enhancement by utilizing the wheels are now being used by the cars, motors, buses, which we use today as per our convenience.
With great power comes great responsibility but this funda of life seems to be vanishing as it does not go along with the mantra of automobile speed that says ‘Get,Set,Smash’ in current scenario Road accidents due to speeding or exceeding speed limit are the crucial issue to worry about.
Increase in speed multiplies the risk of accident and severity of injury during accident causing many to lose their lives and making their families to suffer for lifetime. Sometimes innocent life is struck in bad luck in such accident causing them to suffer badly.
According to the ‘Global Status Report on Road Safety’ published by World Health Organisation (WHO), the major cause of traffic collision is the speed limit and reckless drivers. Lack of ignorance for traffic rules in India particularly is a major factor for road accidents.
Failure to maintain lane or yield to oncoming traffic when turning are prime cause of accidents on four lane,non-access controlled national highways.

Study says in every 3 minute an Indian dies in a road accident where growing rate of young victims in road accident are an upsetting fact. A majority of road accident victims 51.9% are in the 26-65 age group followed by 30.3% in 15-24 age group.

Automobile were made to facilitate and smoother the daily lives like the cars made by Ferrari,Bugatti,Maserati,Lamborghini or Bentley all are engineering marvels but if they are used wisely and effectively. Remembering a famous quote 'Better late than never' as it perfectly describe that nothing is more important than our lives. We can afford to be late but cannot afford to risk our life by our own hands.
